The nominations for the prestigious 37th Annual Awit Awards are finally here! We at Widescope Entertainment are thrilled to announce that our talented artists have received multiple nods across various genres. This recognition is a testament to their dedication and artistry as they continue to shape the Philippine music scene with creativity and passion.

We are especially proud to see Sitti, the Philippines’ Bossa Nova Queen, recognized in the Best World Music Recording category for her beautifully crafted song “Pagdating.” The track, of which was exceptionally enriched by Ramiru Mataro and Erskine Basilio’s arrangement, also earned a nomination for Best Musical Arrangement, showcasing the incredible collaboration that brought this song to life.

Icons Music’s top-notch artist Joey G, has also been nominated for Best Performance by a Solo Artist for his poignant and powerful single “Letting You Go.” His continued excellence and impact in the industry resonates through every note of this heartfelt song. In the Best Inspirational Recording category, Noel Cabangon shines with his soul-stirring track “H’wag Kang Mag-Alala,” highlighting his ability to uplift and inspire through his music, a hallmark of his long and successful career.

Meanwhile, CCP tracks dominate the list in the Best Regional Recording category, where the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Philippines is honored.  “Dandansoy” by Asela Labaro, Jesper Mercado, Jobry Cimafranca, Rafael Espada, Rommel Camba, and Glenn Aquias; “Dungdungwen Kan To” by Abby Clutario and Joshua Cadeliña; and “Lubi Lubi” by Faye Yupano and Project Yazz have all been recognized for their musical contributions. National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, also had his CCP track, “Ating Cu Pung Singsing,” nominated for Best Instrumental Recording.

Rounding out our list of acclaimed artists, Jam Quijano adds festive cheer to the lineup with his nomination for Best Christmas Recording for ‘Blue Christmas Night.”  We’re all incredibly proud of our artists’ achievements and extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the nominees.
