This year’s 37th Awit Awards, held on December 4 at the Music Museum, featured a star-studded roster of nominees coming together to celebrate the country’s decades-long history of cultural artistry.

Widescope Entertainment is proud to continue celebrating excellence with consistent nominations and numerous wins, marking 2024 as its 3rd consecutive year of success at the Awit Awards. Amongst the impressive lineup of both celebrated and fresh artists, the label raises the bar in shaping the future of OPM with every milestone. 

Joey G takes home the prestigious Best Performance by a Solo Artist Award for his heartfelt single, ‘Letting You Go’. This recent triumph for the OPM icon underscores his enduring impact on the local music scene – a sentiment brought to life through his captivating live performance during the event. 

Following this is another well-deserved win for CCP as they garnered the Best Regional Recording Award with Project Yazz and Faye Yupano’s ‘Lubi Lubi’. Yupano’s calming vocals partnered with an intricate jazz arrangement certainly open more exciting possibilities upon the blending of jazz within the OPM scene.
