Inspired by his current relationship, Louie Kem shares, “Masaya ako makapagsulat ng kanta na tungkol naman sa tamis ng pag- ibig kesa sa pagiging sawi, masaya ako na maalay yung kantang to sa kanya kasi nagpapasalamat ako sa inspirasyon na binigay niya sa akin.” While they’re known for songs that are more often about heartache and sentimentality, their latest single shows listeners a new side of Letrang Norte.

Despite being initially written by Louie Kem, the singing-songwriting tandem gave this soulful piece an extra boost of life and love with Ruth’s stunning and unique melodies. Ruth added her own flair to the song production by adding a percussion and bass- heavy second verse that really adds to the song’s celebratory feel. The duo works flawlessly, each stepping in where the other has left off and creating a cohesive whole that perfectly captures the giddiness of being in love.
