As Widescope continues to celebrate more wins and accept new challenges, the team took some time to slow down and reflect on their purpose within the organization. The 3rd Widescope Annual Assembly workshop with the theme: “I Am Because We Are” was held on February 4, 2020 and featured sought-after motivational speaker Ms. Karina “Yumi” Wada as the facilitator.

The workshop encouraged the team to explore their individual selves in order to pave the way towards self-awareness and growth. Discussions on different personality types and motivational factors helped everyone gain more appreciation for one another’s different working styles and understand the vitality of each member to the organization’s success. The workshop also served as an opportunity for the team to engage in meaningful dialogue. Guided activities and group sharing allowed everyone to freely show their appreciation for one another and promoted empathy and trust. With some insights on leadership shared by Ms. Yumi, the team was also able to learn what it means to be an effective leader and team player.

The success of the workshop allows Widescope to further evolve into a more productive workplace with greater openness and understanding. With a stronger sense of camaraderie and belonging, the Widescope family is now more excited to step up and transform the future.
