Widescope Entertainment’s brilliant young talent, Yhuan, has already dazzled us with his music—From his danceable debut Gold to his latest captivating release Ecstasy, Yhuan has consistently shown a talent for musical storytelling. Now, he’s proving his versatility as an artist once again by taking on the lead role in the magical musical Jepoy & the Magic Circle!

On Saturday, October 5th, Repertory Philippines launched its first-ever show at its brand new home, Eastwood Theatre, with Jepoy & the Magic Circle, and leading the charge into this whimsical world is none other than Widescope Entertainment’s very own, Yhuan Gatbunton.

Based on the beloved work of Gilda Cordero-Fernando, and inspired by Filipino folklore, the play follows Jepoy, a spirited young boy venturing into a mythical forest filled with tikbalangs, kapres, and engkantos. As the audience embarks on a musical journey of self-discovery, environmental conservation, and cultural appreciation, Yhuan’s portrayal of Jepoy is nothing short of magical! His seamless transition from the recording studio to the theater stage brings this enchanting world to life, adding a touch of wonder to every scene while entertainingly reminding us of our important role as stewards of nature.
