With another year filled with excitement to look forward to, Widescope Advertising Agency is proud to announce that former Associate Creative Director Elaine Gualberto has been promoted as the agency’s new Creative Director.

Elaine’s creative journey with Widescope started back in 2010 when she had her on-the-job training with the agency. After a stint working in a printing press, Elaine was invited to work with Widescope again in 2014 as a Graphic Designer. Since then, her career in the agency only continued to flourish, eventually landing her the role of Creative Director. She says, “My Widescope journey I can say has been very smooth sailing. From starting as an OJT trainee, I’ve worked my way up to Creative Director. There were no shortcuts and each role that I have had taught me a lesson to help me do even better in my job.”

In her years in the agency, Elaine was able to explore and further develop her talents. Although the path to growth was not always clear-cut, Elaine maintains that the greatest lesson working at Widescope had taught her was: “Your mistakes do not define you. You will lose your competitive edge if you fear making mistakes. You cannot maintain innovative work if you are always afraid of messing up. Owning and learning from my mistakes was what really helped me with improving myself.”

A true creative force, Elaine had played an integral part in many of the agency’s most successful campaigns and projects. She is a creative visionary who has many times over displayed both her prowess in designing as well as her leadership skills. As a team leader, Elaine is someone who always puts her team members first, “For me, my biggest achievement is when I see my teammates excel. It shows me that I’ve done something right as a leader to make it happen.” She believes that her teammates are instrumental in furthering her growth. She says, “It’s great to work in a place where you are surrounded by teammates who are always supportive and collaborative with you.”

With the thrill and responsibilities her new role brings, Elaine wants to focus on continuing to inspire her team. “It’s different now from my early years as an artist. Back then it was more on how I can prove that I am capable. Now, my goals as a Creative Director is less about me and more on the team’s improvement.”

The whole Widescope team is excited to see what new innovations she can bring to life now that she’s on the helm. Congratulations to Elaine for another big win!
