Hailed as the biggest creative gathering in the Philippines, Graphika Manila is an annual conference held in celebration of art and design. The event also serves as a venue where designers and creatives get a chance to share their knowledge and draw inspiration from one another.
Widescope Advertising Agency sent nineteen delegates to attend this year’s conference entitled: Graphika Manila 20/20 held at the SMX Convention Center on February 15 and 16, 2020. During the course of the two-day event, the Widescope team was able to attend talks given by a line-up of world-renowned creatives on how to harness and transform their creative vision into something revolutionary. The Widescope team was also able to join in some exciting activities prepared by the event organizers such as ASUS Philippines’ creative photo contest where members of the team bagged first place.
When asked about her Graphika Manila 20/20 experience, Senior Account Executive Jonie Albesa says, “It was an eye-opening experience for me because I got to understand the creative world better. The speakers’ artworks and experiences they shared were really inspiring. I got especially encouraged from artist Jappy Agoncillo’s talk where he made me realize it is important that you never stop creating something ‘good’ until you came up with the ‘best.’ As long as you put in handwork, integrity and, kindness in everything you do you grow to become so good that people won’t and can’t ignore you.”
With Graphika Manila 20/20 behind them, the Widescope Team is all set to embrace their creativity and bring forth new ideas that are bigger than ever.
