“Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.” – William Pollard

From September 25-27 2019 at Suntec, Singapore seven delegates from Widescope Advertising Agency, including Managing Director Vic de Vera attended Spikes Asia 2019 Festival of Creativity.

The 3-day festival highlighted the best of the Asia-Pacific region’s creative agencies, works and technological innovations.  Together with their campaigns, each speaker also talked about how they became experts in their field with topics ranging from ‘brands in culture’ to trust, ethics and transparency in the creative communications industry. On the last day, the very best works in the region were celebrated and awarded at the Spikes Asia Awards ceremony.

Asked about highlights from the event, Ms. Ken Guiang, Head of Digital at Widescope said, “Aside from learning more about what makes campaigns award-winning and effective, we also learned about important team-building values and innovations… [as well as] Best practices for companies and campaigns.”

One of their takeaways from the festival was embracing change in the industry, Ms. Tracy Sulit, Head of Account Management said, “The value of content is important that it should be interactive, engaging and highly relevant! One thing to consider is that the ecosystem will always change and we must be sharp to keep up!” The festival also featured advances in AR technology, Blockchain and outdoor advertising.

From local talks to global summits, Widescope Advertising Agency continues to explore, expand and evolve in the creative industry through quiet yet exciting revolutions to be seen in the near future. This is the 6th talk attended by the team this year.
